GEESE! GEESE! GEESE! GEESE!

I'll be honest, this is probably toward the bottom of my Kingfisher list of the half dozen or so I've read. But it was still ultimately satisfying and had some great creepy moments. The main character seemed a little simplistic at first, but that plays into the story! The setting is not one I thought I would find myself invested in but the author continues to surprise me in delightful and disturbing ways!

Plus there were geese, and not just geese but FANCY geese!
